A! is a four-day performance festival held in cooperation with Akureyri Art Museum, Akureyri Culture Society, Akureyri Theatre Company, LÓKAL International Theatre Festival, Reykjavik Dance Festival and Icelandic Art Center. Click HERE for program. 

A! Performance Festival is now held for the third time in Akureyri,  North-Iceland at varius locations with local artist, well known Icelandic performance artists as well as International artists. 

Participants for the A! Performance Festival 2017 are: Arna Valsdóttir (IS) og Suchan Kinoshita (J/NL), Gabrielle Cerberville (USA),  The Icelandic Love Corporation (IS), Heiðdís Hólm (IS), Hekla Björt Helgadóttir & Svefnleikhúsið  - The Sleep Theatre (IS), Katrine Faber (DK), Magnús Logi Kristinsson (IS/SF), Voiceland – Gísli Grétarsson (IS/N), Mareike Dobewall (D) og Hymnodia (IS), Ragnheiður Harpa Leifsdóttir (IS), Rúrí (IS), Þóra Sólveig Bergsteinsdóttir (IS) og Liv-K. Nome (N). 

At the same time the video festival Heim (Home) will be on with students from the Art Academy in Münster, Germany: Hui-Chen Yun, Sabine Huzikiewiz, Lejla Aliev, Daniel Bernd Tripp, Mila Petkova Stoytcheva, Fabian Lukas Flinks, René Haustein, Inga Krüger, Georg Mörke, Lisa Katharina Droste, Nadja Janina Rich, Alyssa Saccotelli, Micael Gonçalves Ribeiro, Hagoromo Okamoto, Bastian Buddenbrock, Jana Rippmann, Kai Bomke and Takahiko Kamiyama.
