A! Performance Festival 2024
A! is a four-day international festival held annually, this year for the tenth time. A! Is the only festival in Iceland that focuses solely on performance art. A variety of performances and theater-based projects of all kinds are on the agenda. Participants are young up-and-coming artists and theatre professionals. Read more.

Artist Residency
Akureyri Art Museum’s new artist residency is now open for applications. A committee will select applicants and inform them within a month’s time. The guest artists who will be selected have one week to accept/decline. During their stay, it is possible for the artists to have a small exhibition in the studio. Read more.
